Chicago Marathon/Rock For Reading
FYI, I’ll be running in the Chicago Marathon this fall with the charity Rock For Reading. I chatted recently with Rachael Minucciani (a RFR junior board member and the one that recruited me) about the charity and what to expect gearing up to run 26.2 miles.

Jason, I’ll be running with the Rock For Reading group as well — as a first-time marathon runner. I’ve got my sneakers and sense of humor intact … so far anyway.

Is there any way I can run with you guys through this charity?

I would love to be on the 2011 Rock for Reading marathon team. I am a children services librarian, so promoting literacy is very near and dear to my heart. I am wondering if I did this, if some of the money I raised could go to my library district?
