mod 385 Audio: Modern English play Live from Studio X studiox 12511 Audio: Modern English play Live from Studio X Modern English, best known for their ubiquitous song “I Melt With You” is back with a new album, Soundtrack (only their 7th in over 30 years) and it’s quite good. The lead track “It’s Ok” is catchy and propulsive and completely different from the rest of the numbers here which are more melancholy and reflective.

The original lineup assembled for an XRT Show last week and stopped in to talk with Frank E. Lee and play both “It’s Ok” and “I Melt With You” live in-studio!

These guys ROCKED THE HOUSE at Double Door, nothing like the broadcast they gave at XRT (which is excellent in it’s own right) but they really blew their album material out of the water at the concert on Sunday in Chicago..way to go Modern English! Great Show!!!!!
