Audio: Blago Guilty On 1 Count
The jury has convicted former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich on one count of lying to the FBI. The ex-gov faces prison time and a fine. The panel couldn’t reach agreement on 23 other corruption charges alleging the brothers tried to sell off the perks and favors of the governor’s office, and it’s a hung jury all around for the ex-governor’s brother, Robert. Now the question is whether prosecutors will try them again on those 23 counts.
