[pullquote quote=”Quade experimented with ‘winning’ near the end of the season.” credit=”Lin Brehmer”]The Chicago Cubs will hold a press conference this afternoon to announce that interim manager Mike Quade has been signed for two years to officially become the Cubs 51st manager.  Quade experimented with ‘winning’ near the end of the season and Cubs management decided ‘winning’ was something that the franchise would like to investigate further.  As a minor league manager, Quade had a .510 winning percentage.  The pride of Mt. Prospect High School will presumably come at a more reasonable price tag than current Yankees manager, Joe Girardi.
