The ONXRT: Live from the Archives Volume 12 charity CD is our brand new hand-picked collection of some of the most memorable performances in XRT history and will be available exclusively at Chicago area Borders locations on November 30.

  1. Pete Janettas says:

Is there anywhere to get past
    ONXRT cds? Thanks.

    1. Grant says:

New copies of past ONXRT cds are hard to come by locally. You can find new and used copies on sites like ebay and Amazon. Some are harder to find than others. Hope this helps.

  2. Tom says:

    Plain White Ts were robbed.

    1. John says:

No, we’re lucky because our ears would be bleeding again.

  3. Deb Shermar says:

What about Shawn Mullins outstanding live performance a short time ago? That should be on there.

  4. mary says:

Why not Shawn Mullins instead of David Gray?? too bad. I’m glad it’s back though…great job.

  5. kevin malone says:

Once again , I find another Dave Mattews track on ONXRT, must be the 5th or 6th now, and yet Chicago artist not appearing once again for the 12th time, including Material Issue , Ministry, and Naked Raygun…wtf xrt….lol…

  6. Darryl Powell says:

Thanks again for another fine album! Have every one so far. Been listening since 1973!

  7. Linda Cain says:

This is a fine collection of live tunes by great artists. Thank you for returning to Borders to sell it. The last couple of years, when you sold the CD at Starbucks, I was never able to buy a copy. I had a copy of every single XRT CD since they started making them, until the Starbucks fiasco. Now maybe I’ll have a chance to continue my collection of wonderful music from XRT.

  8. Gary says:

I have all of the ONXRT cds, I was sure you would have included something from the Govt Mule studio X show at Martyrs. I an also disappointed that even after our best friend in the whole world Lin said while hosting an excellent Steve Earle show at Martyrs maybe we can get a song for ONXRT you again failed to include him. Please don’t forget the 30 year XRT fans.

  9. Paul D says:

I have every CD except Vol 1 and I only see 3 Dave Mathews (Tripping Billies Vil 3, The Stone Vol 5, and The Space Between Vol 6). Although Dave Mathews has the most (3) of any band, just a few classics like WILCO, Buddy Guy, the Dead, the Pretenders, REM with 2 each, the rest with 1.

I like th mix of new and older, but we need to get Tom Marker to open up the blues archieve and pull some from there. The blues is a HUGE part of what XRT is to me, it is too bad thay are not represented here.

    1. scooterdown says:

Way to much Da Mumble Bunch!

  10. Andy Hooper says:

Edward Sharpe. I just don’t get it. All I can picture is Brehmer doing some Ashlee Simpson hoe-down dance in the studio while this Deliverance soundtrack reject is playing in the background. Yee ha.

    1. Andy, you can watch video of the band when they recorded “Home” live in our studio during Lollapalooza weekend:

  11. Average Joe says:

Kind of surprised that all of the music on this newest is from this past decade. Part of the fun of the previous releases was finding the lost, live jem from days gone by. New, cutting edge artists are great, but don’t forget to remember your roots…

  12. Joe says:

If you want to see something dougie, play the Vampy Weeks track and look at the live video of the same song at the same show at the Riv. It’s on a Youtube channel Jakeishere93.

  13. scooterdown says:

What a great line up love Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes and the others.

DMB Da Mumble Bunch. They pooped on are people….

Went to a Wedding had a DMB cover. Can’t dance to that.

Glad there is a LFTA VOL12…

    Have them all.

    And the Xmas one.

    Thanks XRT

    1. You can call any Chicago Area store to have it shipped to you if you’d like.

  16. Deb Landis says:
