Year number 19 for the Local Anesthetic Holiday Spectacular has yielded the most diverse collection of Chicago band seasonal greetings to date. Everything from simple guitar/vocal arrangements to full blown, CinemaScope productions. Plus, tune in for the many ways my last name is pronounced. “Chillin’” and “Milne” somehow works in one of them. Who knew? The 19th Annual Local Anesthetic Holiday Spectacular, an-hour long celebration of the season, featuring exclusive salutations to XRT listeners from Chicago bands, this Sunday night at 7pm. Dig these highlights from Mr. Blotto, Who’s This Mary and the always delightful Drastics.
