It’s been 3 years since [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]TV on The Radio[/lastfm]’s last album Dear Science. The group took a bit of haitus to work on various solo projects, including Dave Sitek’s [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Maximum Balloon[/lastfm], Kip Malone’s [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Rain Machine[/lastfm] and Tunde Adebimpe projects  [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Stabbing Eastward[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Fake Male Voice[/lastfm]

I love to be challenged by music and like the groups Roxy Music, Talking Heads and Arcade Fire, TV on The Radio are masters of mixing art and commerce. The group’s fifth album will be called
“Nine Types of Light” and is set to be released early this spring. They are scheduled to perform April 13th at NYC’s famous Radio City Music Hall.
