The Ohio duo beat out [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Arcade Fire[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Vampire Weekend[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Band of Horses[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Broken Bells[/lastfm] to take home Best Alternative Music Album for Brothers.

In the category Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals, they won over another impressive list of nominees: [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”] Muse[/lastfm], Arcade Fire, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Kings of Leon[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jeff Beck[/lastfm] with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Joss Stone[/lastfm].
