We knew the night was going to be special, but we definitely weren’t expecting that.

We haven’t really played it in public before, so if we f*** up… have a go.” Mumford chuckled to himself, then treated the audience in the intimate Clive Davis Theater to a special acoustic performance of the still-untitled new song.


The new song, which Mumford informed the crowd was written in Nashville, has already generated some great buzz around the music community:

    Saw them perform a Live at Studio X show at the Abbey Pub in October 2010 and they are the such an energetic group, funny as hell too

    Ill tell you what I think……I’LL TELL YOU WHAT I THINK……..I THINK THAT WAS THE SHIZ!!!!! These guys are so freakin………I don’t know……AWESOME, CREATIVE, AMAZING, MIND BLOWING, UNIQUE. Every positive word in the English language (and all the other languages while we’re at it) that’s what they are.
