Photos: Fleet FoxesWhile we eagerly await the release of the new Fleet Foxes album, “Helplessness Blues” due 5/3, it looks like frontman Robin Pecknold is also impatient. Today on the Fleet Foxes Twitter, Pecknold posted links to three solo songs he recorded recently in LA. One is a duet with Ed Droste from Grizzly Bear, one is a new solo song and the third is a cover of a song originally done by a New Zealand folk singer named Chris Thompson. Pecknold says these aren’t Fleet Foxes songs but he didn’t know where else, ” to disseminate these pretty mellow jams”.
