” Robin Pecknold Last month, Fleet Foxes announced their forthcoming Helplessness Blues and released the title track for free, their first since their highly acclaimed eponymous debut album in ’08. In efforts to help victims of Japan’s disaster, the band will be auctioning off a test pressing of their new album on ebay and 100% of the proceeds will go to the GlobalGiving Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund. The Seattle folk rockers also debuted another new new song from the album titled “Battery Kinzie.”
