bloodshot Bloodshot For Record Store Day[photogallerylink id=72876 align=left]The mighty Bloodshot Records is celebrating Record Store Day with a limited edition CD release, No One Got Hurt.  It can be found while it lasts at these participating record stores.  This live disc was recorded at the Bloodshot Anniversary 15th Anniversary at The Hideout in Chicago on September 12, 2009.   You get 2 [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Alejandro Escovedo [/lastfm]classics, “Castanets”  and “I Was Drunk.”

[photogallerylink id=71403 align=left] [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Mekons[/lastfm] mates [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Sally Timms [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jon Langford[/lastfm] croon a couple before Jon returns with the [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Waco Brothers[/lastfm].  The Waco Brothers, who made their exuberant annual appearance at the XRT Opening Day Broadcast, here take part in three numbers on the new CD.  There’s plenty more including Scott Biram singing “Still Drunk, Still Crazy, Still Blue.”   The liner notes sum up the event by saying, “The stage didn’t collapse, the sound system didn’t rebel, the bands all showed up and hit the stage at more or less the right times and played the way we love..And no one got hurt.”
