 Bloodshot For Record Store DayPhotos: The Waco Brothers At XRT’s… Mekons mates Sally Timms and Jon Langford croon a couple before Jon returns with the Waco Brothers.  The Waco Brothers, who made their exuberant annual appearance at the XRT Opening Day Broadcast, here take part in three numbers on the new CD.  There’s plenty more including Scott Biram singing “Still Drunk, Still Crazy, Still Blue.”   The liner notes sum up the event by saying, “The stage didn’t collapse, the sound system didn’t rebel, the bands all showed up and hit the stage at more or less the right times and played the way we love..And no one got hurt.”

The first Bloodshot recording with a single band on it was Moonshine Willy — my brother (Chuck Uchida) was in that band.
