Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends was voted the Best Album in the 2008 XRT Listener Poll. In an interview with BBC Radio 1, Chris Martin said that Coldplay‘s upcoming fifth album is about “love, addiction, OCD, escape and working for someone you don’t like.” However he also added that the new album will have “a lot of uplifting stuff.” [Free Album Download]

Just when you thought you heard everything new that Foo Fighters have to offer, after releasing their new album, Wasting Light this month, playing a special two hour Live on Letterman performance and releasing a documentary about the band, they have more.

After 22 years, Big Audio Dynamite reassembled in Liverpool and ripped through a 13 song set full of fan favorites. Mick Jones joined up with his post-Clash band for the opening night gig of a nine-date European tour which will be followed up by a small helping of US dates including a stop at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival earlier this year.

Wow…I have wanted to go to Lollapalooza for years living right in the River West Area but being a mom could never manage it. Well the kids are old enough and this year I may just take them along or what the heck me and my husband will go and enjoy it ourselves….WHAT A LINE-UP FANTASTIC…can not wait
