A Bunch Of Pink Floyd Reissues Coming This Fall

[photogallerylink id=38480 align=left]A massive reissue campaign has been announced for [lastfm]Pink Floyd[/lastfm]. EMI plan to cover the band’s catalogue in the form of “CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, SACD, an array of digital formats, viral marketing, iPhone Apps, and a brand-new single-album ‘Best Of’ collection.”

Cleverly titled Why Pink Floyd…?, the reissue series begins with the release all 14 of Pink Floyd’s studio albums in “Discovery” CD editions, digitally, and as a box set with an accompanying book of photos. The campaign is set to kick off September 26th so prepare for Pink Floyd to be everywhere!

The Wall double album is set to close out the reissue series on February 27th. Its release will include vinyl, digital, “Experience” edition spanning three discs, and “Immersion” edition spanning seven discs!

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE rei-issue the the Wish you were here album on SACD or BluRay in the original QUAD MIX (I’d also take the 5.1 re-mix reissue).
