Friday Feature With Bowie & Beck

If we had a marquee for this week’s Friday Double Feature on XRT, we wouldn’t need to use more than nine letters. Few artists can compare with the influence of David Bowie on modern rock (“Modern Love?”) since changing his name from Davey Jones. Though his musical career has seemingly been on hold in recent years, we can still savor his inspiring contributions to our record collections “just for one day.” Beck has been a source of cool sounds since the mid-’90s.
