Get excited! Arctic Monkeys began their US tour August 1, with a pit-stop in Chicago – and live in our studio! With a total of 4 albums since the English Indie rock band formed in 2002, the band is are nothing short of talented. They gained their popularity via the internet, giving away free cds at their concerts and fan-made myspace pages. Released their 4th album titled Suck It and See.

See what happened up at XRT during Lollapalooza weekend.

This album is nothing like the first two, which have a softer touch to them, and nothing like their third release, “Humbug,” which has a hard edge, much different from the first two. Many people have critiqued the band about the difference in music style. However, When asked about the sound changes between the albums, Alex Turner, lead vocalist for Arctic Monkeys, responded with the statement that whatever they do, they sound like Arctic Monkeys. In “Suck It and See”, anticipate 60s vocal harmonies, tambourine and guitar theatrics as well as clever lyrics.

I do trust all the ideas you’ve introduced in your post. They are very convincing and can definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are too brief for starters. May you please prolong them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.
