Formed in New York in 2007, the four-piece band combines the dreamy vocals of bands like My Bloody Valentine along with the fuzzy shoegaze guitars of early Smashing Pumpkins into smart indie pop. Their 2009 self-titled debut received critical praise for its sharp songwriting, particularly on songs like “Young Adult Friction”.

The album features the production work of Mark “Flood” Ellis, known for his work with acts like U2, The Killers, and the aforementioned Smashing Pumpkins. They will play at Lollapalooza this weekend, along with an XRT aftershow at the Empty Bottle.
