All next week on NBC, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon goes nuts with the Pink Floyd love. Nick Mason and Roger Waters will be guests and all kinds of bands you care about (Foo Fighters, The Shins, MGMT and Pearl Jam) will be performing Floyd songs. Pink Floyd has a gazillion reissues coming out this fall, and you can read about those here.
Mon: The Shins perform “Breathe,” and Nick Mason will be a guest
Tue: Roger Waters is a guest and he’ll play “In The Flesh” with Foo Fighters
Wed: MGMT plays “Lucifer Sam” from The Piper At The Gates of Dawn. Of course MGMT is going with Syd Barrett stuff. It’s the right thing and the only thing for that band to do.
Thu: Some pop country guy (Dierks Bentley) does “Wish You Were Here”
Fri: Pearl Jam plays “Mother”
