Terri Tunes Christmas, Part 1

Tis the season for cool yule songs. Tom Marker knows a lot about that. Check out his selection of holidaze music in the evenings here at the big X. Every December I put together a holiday mix and give a CD to my students at Columbia College. It’s holiday music by artists we studied that semester. Could be someone from the 1920-1969 period we study, or an artist that came to town this semester (they have to write a concert review and it’s cool to see how the artists we studied influence contemporary artists.) The mix is different every year except for two repeat selections…
The Beatles Christmas Time Is Here Again, and Buddy Guy’s Merry Christmas Terri. Can’t help myself. So enjoy the music. If you want to build your own I’ll give you as much information as possible. Happy Crimble!
1. Christmas Time (Is Here Again) – The Beatles
This was part of the fab’s Christmas record for fan club members in 1967. Magical. And it’s available at Amazon on the Free As A Bird CD single.

Near the end of today’s Breakfast With The Beatles, I heard a version of Rockin’ Around The
Christmas Tree I haven’t heard before. It was either The Beatles or someone trying to sound like them (and succeeding!). Can you give me any information on this song? Is it available somewhere for download?
