Mr. Brehmer Goes To WashingtonCelebrating Lin’s 20th…93XRT’s celebration of 20 years of Lin’s morning show has been pretty big. The Saturday radio extravaganza. Mayor Emanuel declaring it “Lin Brehmer Day” in Chicago. Now we learn that the milestone of our Best Friend In The Whole World and XRT’s upcoming birthday have been noted on the US House floor by longtime XRT listener (and Congressman, D-IL) Mike Quigley.

 

Brehmer also talked about his 20 years as morning host on 93XRT this past Friday with Harry Porterfield and Roseanne Tellez on the CBS 2 News at 11AM.

Hmmm, 20 years since I stopped listening to XRT in the morning. Hard to believe he lasted that long, but then again the only surprise at this point is that XRT is still alive at all.

I still can’t believe you dumped on Chicago’s best DJ (Terri Hemmert) like that.

Kudos to my best friend in the whole world (a bit late – I didn’t get the invite). 20 yrs, how cool is it that the mayor named it your day & you have a representative praising you on the floor of congress. I’m glad you had so much fun – you give so much fun,
