Photos: Wilco At Civic Opera HouseThis week our hometown heroes teamed up with King Features to create & crash a “Popeye” cartoon strip, a precursor to this animated video for Wilco’s song “Dawned on Me”, from the Grammy-nominated record, The Whole Love.
This collaboration presents the first hand-drawn Popeye cartoon in more than 30 years.
There’s also an accompanying website, wilcospinach.com, that teases Wilco-brand spinach “coming soon”.
