On Repeat: M83 – Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming

I’ve posted M83 songs from Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming in the past few months, I know, but I can’t stop listening to the album and I’m thinking it deserves another post. We’ve been playing “Midnight City” for you quite a bit lately, and whenever I give it a spin I’m going on and on about the awesomeness of the album and how many other gems you’ll discover when you give it a spin yourself. Look, double albums are tough. Most of the time the band/artist would be much better off scaling things back and putting all of the best songs on one album and saving the leftovers for the box set or rarities compilation to be released down the road, but in my opinion there’s not one wasted track here. It’s gold from front to back. If you like big, dreamy, epic sounding music, this is for you. “Midnight City” is definitely one of the best tracks, but since it’s so hard to pick one, we’ll post a few of the others below…
