An impromptu performance on top of a cold London rooftop is one of the moments that has defined rock and roll. Despite more glamorous options, Ringo Starr has no regrets on the Beatles final concert. “I think it’s what it was, when it was, and it’s great,” Starr said explaining his thoughts on the spontaneous show.
Initial efforts made by the Beatles had them leaving rock and roll fans with a final grandiose showing at world wonders like the Pyramids, an ancient Roman ruin in North Africa, or even inside of a Hawaiian volcano. As none of these plans materialized, Beatle fans alike can agree that it was probably for the best to focus on the music and celebrate their legacy.
