Joe Louis Walker “Artist of the Week,” Jimmy Burns Live, Blues Breakers Tonight

International, Bay Area based blues star Joe Louis Walker will be the Artist of the Week on Blues Breakers tonight. Chicago Bluesman Jimmy Burns will be stopping in tonight along with Dave Herrero to play live and talk about Jimmy’s new record.

Joe Louis Walker, Bay Area blues man, has just released a new album, Hellfire. This is his first for Chicago’s Alligator records though Joe has put put more than 20 albums since his first in the mid-80s. It may be his rocking-est album to date, and he has a couple of appearances coming up this spring. Joe will be in town the weekend of The Chicago Blues Festival and will be doing 93XRT Blues Breakers Show at S.P.A.C.E. We’ll have more details tonight.
Jimmy Burns has a long history of playing the Blues in Chicago. These days he is one of the most sought out artists on the Blues club scene, playing often and at any number of venues. He has a new album out recorded with the help of another Chicago Blues guitar player, Dave Herrero, who will be joining Jimmy
