Underrated Stones Albums

Steve Jobs’ 10…Any album with Keith Richards and Charlie Watts on it is worthy of attention, even ones that came out after Some Girls in 1978. There’s no doubt that Beggar’s Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street form the core of the Stone’s canon, but here’s some of more recent vintage that are worth a second listen:
- A Bigger Bang. Released in 2005, it’s the last studio effort to this day. A stripped down version of the band (Jagger, Richards and Watts) recorded much of the material and producer Don Was punched it up with the help of some session players. Includes the rare political number “Sweet Neo Con” and remains the only record in history to compare itself favorably to the creation of the universe.
