Obama Sings The Blues [Watch]
Sing it!
Like, really. First he knocked out a little Al Green, and last night B.B. King got him to sing a few lines of “Sweet Home Chicago.” The video below shows a few minutes of a special that’s scheduled to run on PBS on the 27th. Quite the band they had playing that night, too. In addition to B.B., Mick Jagger, Booker T. Jones, Buddy Guy and Derek Trucks were laying it down for the Commander In Chief.
Look, no matter what you think of Obama as a president, you have to admire the pipes a little bit. I thought George W. Bush’s presidency was one of the worst things ever to happen to Western civilization, but I respected his arm and thought it was pretty cool when he’d throw out the first pitch from 60′ 6″ and pump one right down the middle. So enjoy the vocal stylings of Barack Hussein Obama II…
