Jeremy (Lin) By Pearl Jam [Watch The Linsanity]

Photo Tour Of Pearl Jam’s PJ20…Not only has Linsanity caught on strong with listeners of the XRT Morning Show, but it has struck late night television as well.
Jimmy Fallon showed his enthusiasm for Lin last night by channeling Ed Ved. Using Pearl Jam’s Jeremy, Fallon turned the dark tune into Jeremy (Lin), a tribute to the Knicks pointguard of the same name.
For Jeremy (Lin), Fallon took the performance further than simply singing and looking the part. While sporting a wig and imitating Vedder’s robust voice in a microphone supporting stance, Fallon hit the stage with some dramatic lighting, similar to the lighting in the original video.
SNL fans and Fallon fans alike know the talent that Fallon has in celebrity impersonations and musical abilities. With popular impersonations like Jerry Seinfeld, John Mayer and, last January’s, Tim Tebow/David Bowie parody, Fallon is chameleon-like in transforming his voice to imitate popular artists.
If more athletes turn into overnight culture icons, we might be seeing Fallon sporting more wigs in tribute.
