Mick & Keith Push Back The Rolling Stones’ 50th Anniversary Tour To 2013

The Rolling Stones have announced they will not be touring this year to mark their 50th. Mr. Miracle Worker, Mick Jagger and the human riff, Keith Richards admitted “Basically, we’re just not ready.” The group declared 2013 to be a more realistic time for them to get it together.

Richards went on to note that ’13 makes perfect sense. “We look upon 2012 as sort of the year of conception, but the birth is next year. Their last tour, A Bigger Bang, wrapped up in ’07. Did Keith’s critique of Mick’s manhood play a factor?

After suffering head trauma while on vacation in 2006 Richards has struggled. Top concert-business source has confirmed the group will most likely take precautions for the guitarists health. Rumor has it they will opt for multiple-night performances in major cities (similar to Prince’s last tour) 10 nights in MSG, 10 nights at Staples, and 10 nights at London’s O2 Arena.

On February 24th, he played along Eric Clapton at a memorial concert for blues legend Hubert Sumlin. “I’ve been playing guitar and singing and getting myself back together. You can’t just walk up there and do it” discloses Richards. The rocker has been perceived as healthy and jovial.

Mick Jagger has been running on all cylinders. Three days prior he performed for President Obama alongside B.B. King and Buddy Guy.

[photogallerylink id=102254 align=left]Stones fans are told not to worry because the group is working on a plethora of other projects. The next year brings new studio sessions, 2013 tour dates, and a major documentary. The film will feature unseen footage as well as unreleased music of the groups 50 year journey together.
