Blues Breakers Playlist January 7, 2013

Last night our Artist of the Week was Ronnie Baker Brooks. We often feature Ronnie in January as it’s his birth month. Ronnie will be celebrating his birthday on Saturday, January 19, with a gig at The Beverly Art Center on West 111th St.  He also has a date on February 7 to play at the Joliet Area Historical Museum. On Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, February 12, Ronnie will be joining Lil’ Ed and others for a benefit for Tim Betts, a Chicago based guitarist who plays with C.J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band. This event will be at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn.  We also played a brand new studio recording from Buddy Guy’s new album, Live at Legends. Buddy has three more weekends, 12 more days, of his January residency at Legends.
