The California R&B-soul/rock group Vintage Trouble will perform their new single “Total Strangers” on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on January 15, amidst opening up for the Who during its 2012-2013 North American Tour. In addition to receiving praise from critics and fans for their 2011 debut album The Bomb Shelter Sessions, Vintage Trouble has been noted for their impressively energetic live shows and highly-regarded musicianship. Maybe you watched them open for The Who at Allstate Arena a couple months back?

Vintage Trouble’s music and appearance, while certainly ‘50s and ‘60s inspired is remarkably fresh—praise for the group largely comes from its ability to innovate while still doing justice to tradition. The future for Vintage Trouble looks bright.

In addition to appearing on Leno, Vintage Trouble will kick off the 2013 portion of their tour with the Who in Anaheim, CA on January 28. They’re headed to Chicago’s Beat Kitchen March 8th.
