Our friend and frequent monrning show visitor, Jeff Garlin has released his own podcast “By the Way, In Conversation With Jeff Garlin.” In it, the Second City veteran talks to his show-biz friends that he’s “assuming on our behalf that we will find interesting” and he’s right on the money with his picks for interviewees.

Recently he chat it up with Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. During their talk, Garlin asks Tweedy to explain how he knows when a show was good or in other words, when a show was “tight.” Then he asks the question: What does the word “tight” mean exactly? Although Tweedy is not a fan of the word, he puts forth the guess that something is tight when “there is so little space between the rock and the intent to rock.”

Both Jeffs are frequent visitors of 93XRT so we can assure you that they know what’s good and that this new podcast is indeed “tight,” as Jeff T puts it. Decide for yourself and listen to it here.
