In 2012 The Killers came back with a bang with the release of their fourth studio album Battle Born after taking a two year hiatus to pursue solo projects and get some much deserved rest. The extended hiatus served well for the band as Batlle Born debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart and was voted the second best album of 2012 in a Rolling Stone readers poll.

This Sunday night at 8 PM, tune into XRT’s Sunday Night Concert to hear The Killers performance from the Live on Letterman series recorded at New York City’s historic Ed Sullivan Theater. Fresh off the release of Battle Born, the band roared through album tracks “Runaways”, “Miss Atomic Bomb”, and more alongside favorites from their career including “Mr. Brightside”.

Despite their hiatus, The Killers played off the crowd’s excitement and brought an energetic set. Flowers exclaimed “I feel a lot of love in this room tonight” as cheers from the crowd emanated in the background. Watch a video of the band performing “Runaways” from the show below.
