By Richard Milne

Tons of tunes for you, kiddos.  I’m hoping the rest of what we hear from Lever is on a par with “Lucky”.  Really nice track from their forthcoming Hover Board release.  There are a number of harder rocking songs than “New Day” from Thoughts Detecting Machine‘s Work the Circuits but I opted for the user friendliest as an intro to Rick Valentin‘s new work.  See the video for the unique album covers below. The Field Recorders opened up last night’s Local Anesthetic with “June” for their Love Triangle release.  The latest from Wedding Dress continues to grow on me.  Check out “Heirlooms” from Desperate Glow.  Andy Rosenstein has put a few years and lots of hard work in to Clip Art‘s debut long player and it shows.  “Politics of Ghosts” is what we heard from Culler.  Looking forward to this Sunday night’s conversation with Sidewalk ChalkShoulder Season is a live album which is unusual for me to invite a gust on to talk about but I think that just reflects how good the project turned out.  Finally, Kangaroo wrapped up the show with a not-so-new track that I slipped on anyway.  Most of the above have release shows or other gigs coming up.  Check their respective sites for more.  I’m Richard Milne.  Back at you with Sidewalk Chalk as y guest on Local Anesthetic, this Sunday night at 7:30 here on XRT.
