Story By Camille Michelotti

Searching for more Beatles memorabilia? Ringo knows what you need. The mop top drummer has called on old friends Paul McCartney, Yoko Ono, and Olivia Harrison, to unearth old photographs for a new project.

At Starr’s launch event for his new exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery in London, in which he showcases his own private photographs from his days in the Beatles, he gave a shoutout to Paul, Yoko, and Olivia, “If they’re listening…dig out the negatives” (via The Guardian).

Starr will publish his photos from the NPG exhibit in a book coming out late September. He feels that a book also containing forgotten photos that McCartney, Ono, and Harrison may possess would be even more effective. “The other boys had cameras too, so the next plan is I want to get the rest of my pictures, Paul’s pictures, Yoko will have John’s pictures, Olivia George’s … it would make a great book. I’ll be in a lot more photos.”

Ringo’s book, entitled PHOTOGRAPH, will hit shelves on September 21st.
