Concert Webcast: Tune-Yards Performs On The BlueCross BlueShield Performance Stage WATCH LIVE
By Marty Rosenbaum

As a professional internet scourer (not my actual job title, but that could change), year after year I see the same reactions to the Lollapalooza lineup. You can bank on seeing the following comments/tweets after the lineup is out tomorrow.

“OMG, so excited!”
“This lineup stinks”
“Meh ____ band will be cool though”
“Last year was way better”

Lollapalooza will be releasing their 2016 lineup tomorrow morning at 6 AM (be sure to stay tuned to XRT to find out who’s playing) and I guarantee the above comments will be said in some iteration. Even more so this year as the festival expanded to four days and contains over 170 performances.

With that in mind, I’m here to tell you everything will be ok, breathe! There will be a couple bands out of the 170 that you will wet your pants with excitement over, a couple bands you will loathe and call out Lollapalooza for not being as cool as they once were, and there are a couple bands on there you don’t even know now but will be in love with six months from now.

Stay tuned folks, less than 24 hours remain until you can start planning your Lollapalooza adventure.
