Australian electronic rockers Rüfüs Du Sol (also known as Rüfüs everywhere else in the world) sat down with Jason Thomas after playing their set at Lollapalooza. Their performance in Grant Park is the second huge festival in the states this year, after taking it to the desert to play a happy set at Coachella earlier this year.

“Today was the same sort of vibe! We had an amazing crowd. So many happy smiling faces dancing along in the rain.”

The sound of their most recent album Bloom was inspired by the sounds of Berlin; from beats coming from clubs at 3 a.m. to soundtracks at clothing stores in the city that doesn’t seem to ever stop. “[Berlin] was so inspiring. We were just Shazamming all of the time”.

Rüfü Du Sol is playing a Lollapalooza after show tonight at Annex.
