A month after ruling that the Double Door must vacate its longtime Wicker Park space, a judge has allowed the venue to stay in its current building until the end of the year.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the judge decided to let the club stay until the end of 2016 after reviewing the club’s contracts for future shows.

The Double Door’s landlord sought to evict the club from the space alleging club management didn’t give proper notification to extend its lease. Last month’s court ruling in favor of the landlord brought an end to a lengthy legal battle.
