UPDATE: Watch CBC Music’s stream of the performance above.

The Tragically Hip announced their Man Machine Poem tour shortly following the news that Gord Downie had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

August 20th is the final stop on the tour with a show at the Rogers K-Rock Centre in Kingston, Ontario. The Tragically Hip wants as many people to witness the performance as possible and cut a deal with the Canadian Broadcast Company to let fans experience it live.

If you’re in Canada, the performance will be broadcast nationwide on the CBC. For those without access to the CBC that want to catch the performance, you can do so quite easily.

Access the performance digitally on CBC Music’s website or via their Apple or Android mobile apps.

Coverage of the performance will start promptly at 7:30 PM CST.

Download the CBC Music Apple App here and the Android App here.

Head over to the CBC’s website for more information.

Although the Tragically Hip hasn’t definitively stated that this will be their last concert, they want to share their final show on the Man Machine Poem tour with the world.
