R.E.M has announced the release of their landmark 1991 album, “Out Of Time” in a deluxe 25th Anniversary Reissue via Concord Bicycle.

The album has been considered as the record that helped break alternative music as well as make R.E.M a household name.

“Out Of Time” was the first R.E.M album to finish Number One in the Best Album Category on The XRT Listener Poll starting a string of four consecutive albums to top the poll.

It was also the first R.E.M album to hit Number One on both the US and UK charts selling 12 million copies worldwide and grabbing three Grammys.

The reissue will come in a 2 CD or 3 LP Vinyl set that will include a remastered version of the original album plus demos, B-Sides and a previously unreleased song. The Deluxe Edition will include 4 discs featuring a live performance from 91’s Mountain Jam, all the album’s videos and rare in-studio footage.

The reissue will be released November 18th, just in time for that R.E.M. obsessive on your list.

Then again that obsessive might very well be you!

In the meantime, enjoy “Radio Song”.
