It’s back to school for Chicago public schoolkids and many other districts … It’s back to work for Congress, where members will be asked to finally approve more money for fighting the Zika virus outbreak … At least 13 people have died in gunfire in Chicago over the Labor Day weekend … President Obama is the first sitting US chief executive to visit Laos, where he’s pledging to help that country pay for removing bombs dropped by the US during the Vietnam War … The president of the Philippines says he regrets calling President Obama an SOB … The Cubs beat the Brewers … the White Sox lost to Detroit … and the Bears have said goodbye to Robbie Gould … It’ll be hot and humid today, with a high around 90.
