This morning, we welcomed in Chicago Bear defensive lineman / fullback Mitch Unrein. In his second year with the Bears following brief stints in San Diego, Denver and Houston, Mitch prides himself in his versatility on both sides of the ball. He had an opportunity to lay a hit on former Denver teammate Brock Osweiler during yesterday’s game, but came up empty. He’s hoping to tally some nice hits on opposing quarterbacks to continue the ‘Doug Buffone game’ wherein Lin and our late great colleague would throw QB names out there and Doug would detail his favorite time laying waste to field captains on the gridiron. Stay tuned, as this Bears season will no doubt bring plenty of things to discuss with this well-spoken member of the defense looking to restore the fear wrought by previous incarnations of the Monsters of the Midway.

Chicago Bears defensive lineman / fullback Mitch Unrein joins the XRT Morning Show the morning after every Bears game at 9:15am for the Two Minute Drill.
