Jim James has a new solo album on the way and he hopes it speaks to the climate that we live in today.

In a press release, James said, “I wanted to make an album that hopefully speaks to the issues of the day, many of which, sadly, are issues we have been dealing with since the beginning of time.”

Eternally Even is James’ second solo album following his 2013 debut Regions of Light and Sound of God. The album is due out on November 4th via ATO/Capitol Records.

Along with a new album, James announced he’ll be hitting the road this fall. On November 26, James will be performing in Chicago for an XRT Show at the Riviera Theatre. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, September 23.
