Phish will perform four shows at Madison Square Garden beginning on December 28th and culminating with a special New Year’s Eve performance on December 31st. The band will fulfill a limited number of ticket requests at their website before they go on sale to the general public on October 10th at 12 pm. All tickets for the floor will be general admission.

With these four Madison Square Garden dates, Phish bring the number of times they have performed at the world famous arena to 39. They first performed in 1994.

Before they head out on their brief fall tour, which begins in South Carolina on October 14, Phish will release their new studio album Big Boat. “There’s definitely a point of view to this one,” Trey Anastasio said, according to a press release. “We’re old enough to have a healthy respect for mortality.”
