Things are not great right now for the Bears on the field right now. They’ve shown signs of life and have done some things well, but the results on the scoreboard remain the same. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory Sunday at Soldier Field, where the infamous sod wreaked havoc on the much-maligned defensive backfield in the closing minutes to provide an assist to the Jacksonville Jaguars go-ahead touchdown. Our Bears correspondent Mitch Unrein insists that the locker room is not turning against itself and that they remain upbeat in trying to nail down the problems that continue to plague them as a team. They’ve got a short week as they’ll go beyond the cheddar curtain this Thursday, meaning we’ll speak to Mitch again this Friday.

Chicago Bears defensive lineman / fullback Mitch Unrein joins the XRT Morning Show the morning after every Bears game at 9:15am for the Two Minute Drill.
