It’s been a nailbiter of a weekend for the final set of games at Wrigley Field this year. Cleveland took two of three from the Cubs at the Friendly Confines, with the Cubs staying alive last night to force a game 6 back in “Believeland”. High drama probably shortened our lives a little bit, but certainly enriched them in the short term. Jason Heyward made a catch reminiscent of the one Moises Alou should’ve had. Rizzo covered foul ball bobble from Grandpa Rossy, who started his final game as the personal catcher for Jon Lester and received a nice ovation after he drove in a run on a sacrifice fly, becoming the oldest catcher in World Series history to do so. KB smacked one out of the park and Chapman came on for a huge eight out save. And so the series shifts back to Cleveland with Kyle Schwarber coming in to play as designated hitter and Jake Arrieta taking the mound.

Len Kasper joins Lin Brehmer on the XRT Morning Show at 8:30am Mondays & Fridays to talk about your NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPION Chicago Cubs as they say hello to Cleveland in the World Series. Len & Lin: never letting the pressure exceed the pleasure, on 93XRT.
