Sunday was another Jay Cutler classic as the franchise quarterback turned the ball over three times in the first half including a pick-6 to former Bear, defensive back Chris Conte. Cutler again showed off his cannon-for-an arm prowess by nailing Cameron Meredith on the well-drawn-up Hail Mary at the end of the first half, proving that his talent and knack for coming through in the clutch aren’t at all fluky. The score shrank the Tampa lead to seven.

Cutler followed up his masterful first half by being strip-sacked in his own endzone for a Tampa safety. Heading into Sunday’s contest, the Buccaneers defense had only collected four interceptions on the season. They increased that total by 50% on the shoulders of the 2008 Pro Bowl selection. His career quarterback rating is now 85.7 on a 2016 rating of 77.1, meaning that the quintessential ‘B’ student is pulling ‘C’ averages this year, at best. But, that’s still better than a 55.1 rating!

Chicago Bears defensive lineman / fullback Mitch Unrein joins the XRT Morning Show the morning after every Bears game at 9:15am for the Two Minute Drill.
