The music world lost a profound artist last week with the passing of Leonard Cohen.
In a statement to the New York Times, Cohen’s manager Robert B. Kory said, “Leonard Cohen died during his sleep following a fall in the middle of the night on Nov. 7. The death was sudden, unexpected and peaceful.”
Even though Cohen knew his health was deteriorating, he was still determined to make an impact as an artist. Cohen’s producer Patrick Leonard said, “He wanted to use the time as productively as he could to finish the work that he was so good at and so devoted to.”
