Even though this video is a few years old, it’s timeless in the sense that it will always serve a purpose. To show the difference between “good” and “bad” drumming.

Conventional wisdom may think an epic John Bonham-esque pounding of the skins is necessary to be considered a good drummer. While that certainly has a time and a place, it never really fits throughout the context of the song.

Take a look at the video above where the drummer shows examples of “good” and “bad” drumming to The Beatles’ tune “In My Life.”

Moral of the story? Simple is better!
