Concert Webcast: Tune-Yards Performs On The BlueCross BlueShield Performance Stage WATCH LIVE

You don’t have to have the voice of an angel to bring people together and unite the souls of many with the power of music. All you need is a microphone, an impressive catalog of backing tracks and probably a drink or two (or three). Karaoke nights are great ways to let off steam, have a little fun and warm up to your new office buddies. In case you’ve already performed all of part one of our picks, here are ten more songs to please the crowd during karaoke night.

I Love Rock & Roll by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts – This classic will absolutely kill any karaoke night and is a surefire way to get people on their feet. They’ll be slamming another dime in the jukebox before you even finish the first chorus.

I Want It That Way by Backstreet Boys – If you were alive in the very early 2000s, you probably still know this one by heart. It was inescapable, and so will be your vocal prowess on the unsuspecting karaoke crowd. Gift them your beautiful crooning and a flashback to the golden days.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen – Made even better if you’re wearing blue jeans and a roughed-up leather jacket, breaking out this 70s classic will bring the house down.

I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston – This might be one of the most upbeat songs about loneliness, but it’s a pop tune you can truly belt. You might not be so lonely after you wow the crowd.

I Would Do Anything For Love by Meatloaf – The level of cheesy in this Meatloaf classic makes it an easy choice for karaoke. Play up the theatrics and some dramatic interpretive dance and dim the lights a little bit more for this karaoke night.

Livin’ On A Prayer by Bon Jovi – Close your eyes, pretend the corner bar is the United Center and rock that house down.

Bohemian Rhapsody Queen – Come on, Wayne, grab your Garth and quickly decide who hits those falsetto notes. This one will also get the crowd on their feet and singing along, so don’t worry about all those parts. The audience will be there to help.

Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac – Try not to think about the break-up aspect of the song and sing it with your favorite bar buddy. It might even be therapeutic, if not for you, for someone else in the crowd.

Just A Friend by Biz Markie – It’s good to punish your friends every once in while. All you need to do is fumble through the lyrics and everyone in your group will have this one stuck in their heads until the end of time.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper – Frustrated about the pay gap? Feeling unsure about the future? Regardless of how you identify, blast this tune and sing your cares away, even if it only lasts for three minutes.

Say It Aint So by Weezer – This classic was just featured as a solid air guitar anthem, but it will also bring down a karaoke night. Just don’t forget to air-strum the chorus like your life depended on it.
