The legacy of reggae pioneer Peter Tosh is now there for all to experience at The Peter Tosh Museum in new Kingston, Jamaica.

The museum received it grand opening last month and showcases personal artifacts, including hi famed M16 guitar and beloved unicycle along with rare radio, audio and video recordings of one of Jamaica’s most celebrated cultural figures.

XRT listeners are certainly familiar with Tosh’s early work with The Wailers as well as solo classics like “Legalize It” and “Stepping Razor”.

Tosh was the only reggae artist signed to the Rolling Stones label, toured with the band in 1978 and performed a memorable duet with Mick Jagger on his song “Walk And Don’t Look Back”.
